About the Role
The Lead Building Automation Specialist will field‑commission custom building automation systems, act as the technical point of contact, and mentor less‑experienced field engineers. Responsibilities include installing, troubleshooting, and optimizing Direct Digital Control systems, delivering turnkey projects, configuring software, and providing on‑site training and documentation. • Commission and field‑install custom building automation systems using Direct Digital Control technology. • Troubleshoot and optimize controls, sensors, software, trends, alarms, and reports. • Deliver turnkey projects for medium to large installations and document project status for customers. • Provide on‑site training to owners/operators and serve as the local technical contact. • Mentor and train less‑experienced field engineers.

What You Bring
Required qualifications are a high school diploma or GED, at least four years of experience in building automation or HVAC, ability to work at heights and lift up to 50 lb, and a valid driver’s license. Preferred credentials include a degree or technical certification, proficiency with WebCTRL and TCP/IP networks, strong communication skills, and Microsoft 365 experience. • Possess ≥4 years experience in building automation/HVAC, high school diploma/GED, and valid driver’s license. • Preferred: degree or technical certification, expertise with WebCTRL, TCP/IP networks, and Microsoft 365. • Ability to work at heights, lift up to 50 lb, and communicate technical information to non‑technical audiences.
