About the Role
The Chiller Commissioning Engineer role focuses on York chillers—air‑cooled, water‑cooled, screw, centrifugal, and magnetic bearing types. The engineer will lead commissioning activities, validate performance, and optimize systems at client sites while ensuring compliance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications. • Lead commissioning of York screw, centrifugal, and magnetic chillers. • Perform functional testing, performance validation, and system optimization. • Review engineering drawings, control schematics, and technical documentation. • Collaborate with design, installation, and project management teams for seamless handover. • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and control issues during startup. • Ensure compliance with safety standards, manufacturer specs, and client requirements. • Provide technical training to client personnel and junior engineers. • Document procedures, test results, and final commissioning reports.

What You Bring
• Hold a diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical/electrical engineering. • Possess 10–15 years HVAC commissioning experience, specifically with York chillers. • Strong knowledge of HVAC control systems (BMS, PLCs) and ASHRAE standards. • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and client‑facing communication skills. • Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
