About the Role

The Safety Officer will safeguard the operation of all project areas and facilities, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and promoting a proactive safety culture across the organization. • Develop and align long‑term safety and health strategies with corporate goals. • Lead, mentor and manage internal and contractor safety personnel, including budgeting and resource allocation. • Design, implement and continuously improve organization‑wide safety and health programs. • Conduct advanced risk assessments, hazard analyses and develop mitigation plans. • Represent the company with regulators, industry groups and coordinate cross‑departmental safety compliance. • Oversee training programs, evaluate junior officers and facilitate advanced safety development. • Draft, update and ensure compliance with internal safety policies and international standards. • Lead investigations of major incidents, produce root‑cause analyses and present recommendations. • Promote a safety culture through campaigns, awareness events and crisis management planning. • Plan and direct emergency response and crisis actions, collaborating with external agencies. • Manage internal safety audits, inspections and liaise with external auditors and regulators.

What You Bring

• Minimum 2–3 years experience in health and safety, preferably construction or engineering. • Hold DO‑accredited BOSH (SO3) certification, valid First Aid/BLS, and preferably NEBOSH, IOSH or OSHA 30‑hour credentials. • Knowledge of Philippine OSH laws (RA 11058, DOLE Order 198‑18) and relevant DOLE/DENR/LGU regulations. • Familiarity with PPE, safety signage, environmental compliance (ECC) and international standards (NFPA, ANSI, ISO 14001). • Proven ability in risk assessment, job hazard analysis, incident investigation and reporting. • Strong communication skills for toolbox talks, orientations and safety documentation. • Experience conducting inspections, audits and implementing corrective actions. • Ability to develop emergency response plans and lead drills.
