Assist in overhead transmission line construction, stringing, and maintenance.

About the Role
• Climb transmission structures for installation and maintenance. • Upgrade and construct new and existing transmission assets. • Interpret technical drawings, line diagrams and maps. • Coordinate with network operator inspectors and customers. • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and maintain work‑in‑progress plans. • Install and maintain conductors, aerial equipment and underground cables. • Install and service associated electrical supply equipment. • Respond to electrical breakdowns and emergencies. • Follow site‑specific health and safety policies and procedures.

What You Bring
We are seeking experienced Assisting Overhead Transmission Linespersons to join a crew of eight on a 19/9 roster based in Wagga Wagga, NSW, as we begin stringing works. • Possess at least 5 years experience in overhead transmission line stringing and conductor work. • Hold a Construction White Card and relevant High Risk Work Licenses (rigging, dogging, EWP > 11 m, working at heights). • Certified in tower rescue and any additional applicable HRWL. • Trade certification (Cert III ESI – Transmission Overhead) or equivalent is desirable. • UETDRTO016 – Installing Transmission Structure Hardware certification is desirable. • Ability to complete a pre‑employment medical examination.
