About the Role
The Driver – CDL (B) safely operates a collection truck to provide prompt, courteous, and complete waste removal services while ensuring the vehicle complies with the Company’s safety standards and all applicable regulations. They also complete daily vehicle condition reports (VCRs) to address any defects promptly. Key duties include performing comprehensive pre‑ and post‑operation inspections, reading route sheets, following maps, and servicing each customer on the assigned route. The driver loads and compacts refuse, operates the compactor, disposes of material at designated facilities, and interacts professionally with customers, dispatchers, and coworkers. Additional responsibilities involve identifying and tagging unsatisfactory waste containers, cleaning accidental waste spills according to safety standards, continuously monitoring vehicle condition, cleaning the packer blade and truck body, and completing required productivity sheets and reports while meeting departmental productivity standards. • Perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections and complete daily VCRs. • Safely operate a collection truck along assigned routes, loading and compacting waste. • Read route sheets, follow maps, and service each customer as directed. • Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and coworkers. • Identify and tag unsatisfactory waste containers per procedures. • Clean up accidental waste spills in accordance with safety standards. • Monitor vehicle condition, clean packer blade and truck body on each disposal trip. • Complete route productivity sheets and other required reports. • Adhere to productivity standards and safety policies, including the ReSOP program. • Commit to company safety standards and avoid inappropriate risks.

What You Bring
The position requires a Class B (or higher) Commercial Driver’s License with an air‑brake endorsement and offers a pay rate of $33.15 per hour plus eligibility for a bonus plan.
