About the Role
The immersive, eight‑week training takes place in Charlotte, NC, and prepares graduates for regional technical‑sales roles. Trainees receive a regional assignment before training begins in July, ensuring a smooth transition into their local market after completion. Throughout the program, participants work alongside applications engineers and sales teams, applying classroom concepts to real‑world HVAC design, troubleshooting, and solution delivery. What You Bring
Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree (completed or expected by 2026), a valid driver’s license, and unrestricted U.S. work authorization. Preference is given to engineering graduates with strong academic performance, relevant software skills, and any internship or work experience in HVAC, engineering, or sales. • Complete or pending Bachelor’s degree by 2026 (any field) • Valid driver’s license and U.S. work authorization without sponsorship • Preferred: four-year engineering degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Architectural, Chemical, Systems, or Controls) with GPA ≥ 3.0 • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) • Strong interpersonal, communication, and consultative selling skills • Technical aptitude, creativity, collaborative mindset; HVAC, engineering, or sales internship experience a plus • Demonstrated integrity, accountability, and strong work ethic • Core learning includes Carrier values, sustainability, HVAC engineering fundamentals, product/application training, sales & marketing tools, and relationship‑building techniques
