Geotechnical Internship (Level 1)
Assist with geotechnical field and lab tasks, including testing, drilling, and sample analysis.

About the Role
• Assist with performing lab testing • Draft boring logs and location diagrams • Schedule drill rigs for geotechnical projects • Obtain utility clearance for subsurface explorations • Assist with subsurface exploration program and prepare drilling instructions • Perform boring and test pit layouts using conventional surveying and GPS • Classify soil samples • Perform hand augering to obtain subsurface information and soil samples • Observe foundation or ground improvement installations • Provide suitable transportation for job sites; mileage will be reimbursed

What You Bring
• Actively pursue a Bachelor or Master degree in Civil Engineering, Geology, or a related field • Carry 40–70 lb repeatedly or occasionally lift up to 85 lb to waist height
