About the Role

The position is responsible for planning, supervising, performing, and coordinating all phases of installation, maintenance, repair, and inspection of systems in new or remodeled facilities. It also includes daily planning for a crew of workers to ensure efficient project execution. Key duties include interpreting specifications and blueprints, laying out work for the crew, and pre‑planning daily activities to meet schedules. The employee monitors quality control, orders materials, coordinates equipment needs, and ensures proper documentation such as daily, safety, and inspection reports. They also supervise craft workers, train and mentor staff, and implement safety and productivity improvements while traveling to various job sites as needed. • Interpret specifications and read blueprints. • Plan and schedule daily crew activities to meet project timelines. • Order and coordinate delivery of materials and equipment. • Ensure equipment maintenance, qualified operators, and timely repairs. • Monitor quality control, safety, and productivity of craft workers. • Complete daily, safety, ESR, and inspection reports. • Supervise and coordinate up to six or more craft workers and foremen. • Train, mentor, and evaluate crew members, including apprentices. • Conduct hiring, performance reviews, and address employee concerns. • Travel to job sites on short notice as required. • Implement improved production methods and best practices. • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and prevailing wage rules. • Maintain a safe work environment and proper PPE usage. • Provide positive coaching environment for skill development.

What You Bring

Candidates must have at least seven years of pipe supervisory experience, with a high school diploma or GED preferred. Required skills include proficiency in at least one craft area, the ability to read blueprints, strong leadership and communication abilities, basic math competence, and familiarity with Microsoft Office. The role demands the capacity to supervise six or more workers, work under pressure, and uphold the company's zero‑injury safety principles. The work environment often involves exposure to outdoor weather, moving mechanical parts, high or precarious locations, extreme heat, noise, and occasional fumes, particles, or vibration. Employees must use appropriate personal protective equipment and adhere to safety protocols at all times. • Minimum seven years pipe supervisory experience. • High school diploma or GED preferred. • Proficient in at least one craft area and able to read blueprints. • Ability to lead, motivate, and communicate effectively with crews. • Basic math skills for calculations and scale reading. • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office and email. • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
