About the Role
The Mechatronics & Robotics Technician supports the Operations Maintenance Team by repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems, as well as installing, maintaining, and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment throughout the building. • Promote safety by adhering to all safety procedures. • Perform preventative maintenance routines and document them properly. • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on material handling equipment (belts, motors, sensors, relays, etc.). • Create, assign, and close work orders, tracking labor hours, maintenance activities, and parts usage. • Track and manage department inventory. • Mentor junior technicians to develop their skills. • Maintain positive working relationships across the operations facility. • Conduct predictive and preventative maintenance for at least 2 years. • Use a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). • Work flexible schedules/shifts as needed. • Work in a warehouse environment with fluctuating temperatures. • Perform computer typing tasks 1–2 hours per day.

What You Bring
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least two years of experience repairing material handling or conveyor systems, and experience with predictive and preventative maintenance, blueprint and schematic reading, and basic electrical principles. Proficiency with a CMMS and Microsoft Office, plus the ability to work flexible schedules, is also required; an associate’s degree or higher in a mechanical or electrical field, MHE safety knowledge, and robotic maintenance experience are preferred. The role demands physical abilities such as reaching overhead, kneeling, squatting, climbing ladders, using aerial lifts, and lifting up to 50 lb, while wearing required PPE. Technicians regularly move between departments, travel 6–12 miles per day, work in varying warehouse temperatures, and spend 1–2 hours daily on computer tasks. • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent. • Have 2+ years experience repairing material handling or automated conveyor systems. • Read blueprints and electrical schematics for 1+ year. • Understand electrical and electronic principles (1+ year). • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project. • (Preferred) Hold an associate’s degree or higher in mechanical/electrical field. • (Preferred) Knowledge of MHE safety standards per OEM and safety regulations. • (Preferred) Experience with robotic operation and maintenance. • Ability to reach overhead, kneel, squat, climb ladders, use aerial lifts, and lift up to 50 lb. • Wear required PPE such as hard hat, face mask, face shield, and composite toe shoes. • Travel 6–12 miles daily between departments, floors, and properties.
