About the Role

• Perform complex grounds maintenance to meet Land Management service line requirements. • Maintain and upkeep site grounds and gardens. • Identify and manage risks associated with grounds maintenance. • Provide input into reporting and deliver specific, complex grounds and gardens performance.

What You Bring

The role commences in February 2026 and we welcome candidates from any background, whether they bring Defence experience, industry knowledge, or transferable skills from other sectors. If you are passionate about contributing to Defence capability and want to be part of a high‑performing, inclusive team, we encourage you to apply. • Experience in grounds maintenance with knowledge of horticulture and irrigation systems. • Certificate III/IV or Diploma in Horticulture (desirable). • Agricultural Chemical Distribution & Control (AC/DC) and ChemCert certificates (desirable). • Medium or Heavy Rigid Truck Licence and Chainsaw Operator Licence/Certificate (desirable). • Current open driver’s licence. • Ability to obtain and maintain Defence Security Clearance (Australian citizenship mandatory). • Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to high‑quality outcomes.
