About the Role
Project Engineers are responsible for the safety, direction, completion, and financial outcomes of construction projects from budgeting through closeout. Safety is a core value, and engineers work with all levels of project management and field supervision to set operational priorities and deliver quality results. • Ensure customer satisfaction by identifying and exceeding client needs with executive guidance. • Estimate, value engineer, and develop project budgets under senior management direction. • Facilitate subcontractor bid process, handling documentation distribution and tracking. • Utilize software tools and templates to process and monitor all project documentation. • Negotiate subcontractor and material buyouts; develop and finalize subcontracts. • Plan and schedule projects, coordinating timelines and resources. • Manage jobs in progress, coordinating subcontractors, resolving conflicts, and ensuring quality and safety. • Monitor project costs, forecast expenses, analyze exposures, and protect profit margins through completion. • Conduct project closeout activities, ensuring all deliverables are completed. • Provide leadership by building relationships, motivating teams, and delivering clear direction. • Engage with clients and prospects to identify and pursue new business opportunities. • Prepare and deliver client presentations, negotiate terms, and secure new contracts under supervision. • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

What You Bring
The role requires a B.S. in Construction Engineering or a related field, 3–5 years of construction experience, strong relationship‑building and communication skills, self‑motivation, and a detail‑oriented mindset.
