About the Role
The mission is to design, implement, and optimize innovative data platform solutions that meet the evolving needs of the organization, ensuring high‑quality, secure, scalable, and cost‑effective data services. The role focuses on delivering robust data infrastructure that supports business objectives and drives operational efficiency. • Diagnose data platform challenges and recommend best practices and standards. • Validate proposed solutions through technical analysis and feasibility assessments. • Create architecture diagrams, reference guides, and procedural documentation. • Continuously evaluate and introduce new technologies to enhance the data platform. • Conduct proofs of concept, pilots, and experimentation with emerging tools and services. • Use a technology radar to assess trends and recommend improvements. • Define and maintain data platform reference architecture. • Establish naming conventions and data platform standards with Enterprise IT. • Align solutions with governance, product management, and organizational standards. • Provide cost and risk estimates for data initiatives, considering technology choices, complexity, and maintenance. • Collaborate with Data Platform Operations, Delivery & Engineering, Ingestion, Quality & Compliance, and Enterprise IT teams. • Deliver architecture consulting, technical diagnosis, and solution guidance.

What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or 7–10 years equivalent experience. • Expertise in AWS Cloud. • Advanced skills in ETL tools, storage, and DBMS technologies. • Advanced SQL proficiency. • Strong understanding of data architecture, data lakes/warehouses, and cloud data platforms. • Knowledge of data security best practices. • Experience using technology radars and evaluating emerging tech. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Effective collaboration across cross‑functional teams. • Problem‑solving and analytical capabilities, including assessing feasibility, cost, and risk. • Ability to influence and guide stakeholders. • Proven experience in data architecture, data engineering, or similar roles. • Demonstrated ability to design and implement complex data platform solutions. • Experience conducting PoCs, pilots, and evaluating new technologies. • Experience creating clear technical documentation. • (Optional) Experience with cloud provider managed services and data governance frameworks.

Benefits
For this U.S.-based, full‑time position, the expected compensation range is $142,400‑$213,600 per year, which includes base pay and a short‑term incentive. Salary ranges are set by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level, and individual pay is determined by performance, knowledge, job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
