About the Role

The role involves developing and coordinating functional testing of multi‑stack equipment and multi‑redundant system configurations, reviewing criteria, specifications, drawings, equipment submittals, and other commissioning documentation. You will also contribute to commissioning reports and conduct field inspections to assess existing conditions and support new work. • Develop and administer pre‑functional checklists. • Create clear daily field reports and issue‑resolution documentation. • Ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of work assignments. • Communicate daily with management and client teams. • Contribute to and develop commissioning reports. • Conduct field inspections, assist senior engineer with due‑diligence, feasibility, and gap analysis. • Update daily commissioning progress reports. • Perform functional testing of equipment and systems via Facility Grid. • Observe startup activities, manage vendors, and collect and analyze test data. • Identify and resolve problems proactively. • Troubleshoot system and component issues at low levels. • Apply FMCx standards and utilize Facility Grid effectively. • Maintain EIT/FE certification. • Provide training and professional development courses. • Support dynamic Employee Resource Groups. • Provide competitive paid time off policy. • Allow half‑day work‑from‑home Fridays year‑round.

What You Bring

To succeed, candidates should have experience commissioning or designing large mechanical systems for industrial, datacenter, pharmaceutical, or laboratory clean‑room environments, complemented by self‑motivation, relationship‑building, and effective communication skills. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience. • Possess at least 18 months of hands‑on testing, validation, and troubleshooting of large electrical systems. • Understand proper system selection and LEED principles. • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of applicable codes. • Experience with ASHRAE, BCxA, PECI Cx, and RETRO‑Cx procedures (preferred).
