About the Role

We are currently seeking a motivated Cleaning & Waste Supervisor to lead and support our cleaning and waste teams, ensuring service excellence, compliance, and safety in line with contractual and operational standards. The role involves supervising cleaning and waste operations, coordinating daily work allocation and rosters, monitoring quality and handling complaints, managing inventory and equipment within budget, and providing mentorship while enforcing infection‑control procedures. • Supervise cleaning and waste operations to meet service and safety specifications. • Allocate daily work, manage rosters and resources for efficient service delivery. • Monitor service quality, investigate complaints and drive continuous improvement. • Control inventory, maintain equipment and manage consumables within budget. • Mentor and support cleaning staff while enforcing infection‑control procedures. • Lead large teams, preferably in healthcare or regulated environments. • Apply strong knowledge of cleaning practices, infection control and waste management. • Uphold workplace safety, quality standards and deliver exceptional customer service.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate will have proven experience overseeing large teams, preferably in healthcare or a similarly regulated setting, strong knowledge of cleaning, infection control and waste management protocols, and proficient computer skills with MS Word, Excel, and rostering systems. Excellent communication, problem‑solving, organisational abilities, and a commitment to safety, quality standards, and exceptional customer service are essential.
