About the Role
The General Services Intern reports to welders, electrical technicians, machinists and the shop foreman and assists with materials, tools, equipment and supplies for production or internal work. The role includes janitorial duties, cleaning work areas, restocking supplies, and may involve lifting, positioning, preparing, cleaning and finishing materials after welding or machining. Interns may also perform minor maintenance and cleaning of tools and equipment as directed. • Repeat tasks according to instructions or procedures • Evaluate information using measurable standards

What You Bring
• Must be a U.S. citizen • High school diploma or equivalent required • Valid driver’s license required • Ability to stand or walk for long periods • Ability to lift and carry 50–100 lb materials • Proficient with a variety of hand tools • Excellent computer skills • Experience in a manufacturing environment • Experience with welding and fabrication • Ability to read engineering drawings • Ability to work independently or within a team • Experience operating a forklift or aerial lift • Experience with painting or machining • Familiarity with electrical components and hand tools
