About the Role
• Assist Metro NY senior management and Project Managers directly. • Collect and analyze financial, economic, and qualitative data across multiple business lines (Transportation, Water, PPM, Buildings + Places, Environment, Energy). • Create and maintain spreadsheets and databases. • Develop reports and presentations in Excel and PowerPoint to support strategy, financial planning, and operations. • Prepare monthly and quarterly forecasts of key project and program financial metrics for the Metro NY portfolio. • Monitor project and program status and assess impacts on operational and financial performance. • Support corporate initiatives, attend senior management meetings, and track action items. • Conduct research, generate reports, and provide recommendations. • Coordinate data collection and analysis with business lines and corporate departments for senior management reporting. • Assist Project Managers with project management software systems.

What You Bring
AECOM is seeking a Program & Project Management Intern based in New York, NY, with a start date in Summer 2026. • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field, with at least one year of study completed. • Recent graduates eligible if planning to pursue a master’s degree in the same or similar discipline. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. • Comfortable performing quantitative analysis under tight time constraints. • Strong communicator who asks questions and learns from co‑workers. • Able to prioritize tasks and meet urgent deadlines. • Experienced working with technical and administrative personnel at various levels. • Familiar with industry software such as Oracle Primavera P6 and Revit. • Knowledgeable in business intelligence tools like Power BI and Office 365 apps (Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint Design).
