About the Role
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing facility equipment and plant systems. This includes routine inspections, preventive maintenance, corrective and predictive repairs on motors, conveyors, mechanical parts, electrical wiring, and related components, as well as basic electrical troubleshooting of AC and DC circuits. The role requires strict adherence to safety regulations, documentation of work performed, participation in safety committees, and clear communication of equipment status. The technician must also maintain tools, keep work areas clean, and operate various lifts as needed. • Perform troubleshooting, corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance on plant equipment. • Monitor equipment function through routine inspections and daily observation. • Conduct basic electrical troubleshooting on AC, DC, single‑phase and three‑phase circuits. • Follow all safety rules, procedures, and regulations, including OSHA and NFPA‑70E. • Document and report issues, complete work orders, and track spare‑part usage. • Participate in safety committees and related initiatives. • Maintain and secure tools, repair equipment, and keep work areas clean. • Communicate equipment and plant status to supervisors and operations teams. • Operate various lifts and other material‑handling equipment safely. • Collaborate with operations staff to ensure equipment uptime and effective repairs. • Train and cross‑train coworkers to share maintenance knowledge. • Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, and ladder logic for PLC troubleshooting. • Use laptops, tablets, SAP, and industrial software for work documentation and diagnostics.

What You Bring
Candidates must have at least three years of maintenance and electrical experience in a manufacturing setting, be proficient with PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics, and be able to read blueprints and electrical schematics. A vocational certificate or associate degree in electromechanics is required, and experience with CNC machining, OSHA/NFPA‑70E standards, and modern technology (laptops, tablets, SAP) is preferred. The position involves physical demands such as standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lb, and working in confined spaces, at heights, and in variable temperatures. Required PPE includes safety glasses, steel‑toe shoes, gloves, and hearing protection, and the employee must follow lockout/tagout and other safety procedures. • Meet a minimum of three years’ experience in manufacturing maintenance and electrical work. • Possess a vocational certificate or associate degree in electromechanics; CNC machining experience is a plus.
