About the Role

The Outside Sales Representative will develop and maximize market share for Temporary Containment Walls (TCW) within the assigned territory. The role focuses on generating profitable business in healthcare construction, isolation, infection control, and related fields, while strengthening Sunbelt’s brand identity. • Promote Sunbelt’s safety culture. • Develop and execute territory sales plans to grow existing and new customer base. • Generate business through phone calls, cold calls, and in‑person visits. • Provide technical sales and application solutions and prepare detailed proposals. • Coordinate project specifications with internal teams to meet customer timelines. • Monitor competitor activity and market data within the territory. • Maintain daily CRM updates of sales calls and job details. • Set and achieve annual territory sales KPIs, revenue and growth targets. • Learn equipment technical aspects and deliver customer training. • Assist with product demos, deliveries, diagnostics and overall customer success. • Serve as primary contact throughout planning, troubleshooting and completion of TCW projects. • Build relationships with local, regional and national sellers in tool and specialty divisions.

What You Bring

Success in this position requires creating and executing sales plans, prospecting new customers, providing technical solutions, and coordinating project specifications with internal teams to meet customer timelines. The representative must monitor market trends, maintain accurate CRM records, and achieve annual sales targets. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, plus at least two years of construction‑related sales experience. A proven consultative selling record, strong construction knowledge, and the ability to learn engineering concepts are essential. Self‑motivation, excellent communication, and robust project‑management skills are also required. • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with 2+ years in construction‑related sales. • Proven consultative selling track record. • Strong construction background; ability to grasp engineering concepts. • Knowledge of Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) standards preferred. • Self‑starter with excellent communication, motivation and results‑driven attitude. • Strong problem‑solving, organization and multitasking abilities. • Ability to meet sales objectives independently. • Project management, new‑business development and customer‑retention skills. • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
