About the Role

The Senior BIM Consultant will join a highly skilled team to develop and implement BIM strategies for global clients, guiding projects from the strategic planning stage through to delivery. In this role the consultant will capture client requirements, devise BIM strategies, author documentation and workflows, lead implementation across programmes and projects, communicate plans to stakeholders, manage risks, and coordinate with design teams and contractors. • Capture client requirements and develop tailored BIM strategies. • Author BIM documentation and workflows aligned with industry best practices. • Lead and manage BIM rollout across programmes and individual projects. • Communicate BIM strategies, documentation, and workflows to all stakeholders. • Identify BIM‑related risks and implement appropriate mitigations. • Interface with clients, design teams, and contractors to apply BIM methodologies. • Lead and mentor a BIM team, facilitating meetings and workshops. • Conduct structured model reviews, clash detection, and data analysis. • Produce detailed reports and peer‑review colleague work for quality assurance. • Contribute to bid proposals and maintain Turner & Townsend BIM processes. • Provide line management and support research on emerging BIM technologies. • Champion digital services as an ambassador for the firm.

What You Bring

The position requires a strong understanding of civil, architectural and mechanical design and construction, proficiency with 3D modelling and clash detection tools such as Revit, Navisworks or Solibri, and knowledge of international BIM standards and common data environments. Candidates should hold a degree or equivalent experience, possess solid construction knowledge, and demonstrate the ability to lead teams, run workshops, write clear reports, and maintain Turner & Townsend quality standards. • Degree or equivalent professional experience in BIM/technology/software. • Strong understanding of civil, architectural, and mechanical design and construction. • Proficiency in 3D modelling software (e.g., Revit, ArchiCAD) and clash detection tools (e.g., Navisworks, Solibri). • Working knowledge of international BIM standards and common data environments. • Experience with construction documentation and on‑site coordination. • Self‑motivated, independent work ethic. • Excellent communication and presentation abilities. • Ability to lead meetings, workshops, and team discussions. • Methodical, inquisitive approach to learning new technologies. • Confident in challenging others and driving continuous improvement.
