About the Role
The Production Member (Custom Coating) works the first shift at a pay range of $20.65 to $22.15, supporting a Lean‑manufacturing, team‑based facility. The role emphasizes continuous improvement through the Masco Operating System, Shop Floor Management, and core values such as People, Credibility, High Performance Teams, Customer Service, and Innovation. Key responsibilities include following standardized work, meeting or exceeding production standards, loading and unloading parts, cleaning, inspecting, and making quality decisions, as well as packing, unpacking, and recording parts using scan guns or manual entry. The member also collects data, delivers parts to subsequent processes, operates powered industrial equipment, and contributes to safety, quality, delivery, and cost improvements while working within a collaborative team environment. • Follow standardized work procedures. • Load and unload parts efficiently. • Clean, inspect, and make quality decisions on parts. • Place questionable parts on hold and notify leadership. • Pack and unpack parts as required. • Record production data using scan guns or manual entry. • Collect and report production data. • Deliver parts to the next process step. • Operate powered industrial equipment (forklift, tugger, hand carts, drills, sanders, polishers). • Contribute to improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost. • Participate actively in the team environment. • Accept or reject parts according to DS‑500 specifications. • Perform ERGO stretches and safe work practices. • Complete hazard observations and report unsafe actions per Delta procedures. • Execute 5S housekeeping and maintain a visual workplace. • Read and interpret safety rules, specifications, Standard Work Instructions, MOS, SFM, QMS, and ERP documents. • Apply basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) to unit measurements. • Meet physical demands such as standing, walking, reaching, and lifting up to 40 lb.

What You Bring
A high school diploma or equivalent is required; manufacturing experience is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates must demonstrate critical thinking, problem‑solving, and the ability to work independently while adhering to attendance and disciplinary standards. Physical performance evaluations may be required to confirm the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull required loads. The position demands the ability to read and interpret safety rules, specifications, work instructions, and systems such as MOS, SFM, QMS, and ERP, as well as basic mathematical skills and reasoning to follow written, oral, or diagrammatic instructions.
