About the Role

Under the supervision of a lead, foreman, or supervisor, the TSDF Maintenance Technician performs repair, maintenance, and installation duties on facilities, treatment plants, and equipment. The role involves conducting inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs; troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment issues; installing new equipment and fixtures; fabricating metal parts through cutting, forming, and joining; and coordinating onsite projects with contractors. Additional responsibilities include ordering, receiving, and stocking parts and maintenance materials, maintaining files and logs, and performing general housekeeping and groundskeeping tasks. • Perform inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on plant, facilities, and equipment. • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and plan equipment repairs. • Install new equipment and fixtures. • Fabricate metal components, including cutting, forming, and joining. • Coordinate with contractors for onsite projects. • Order, receive, and stock parts and maintenance materials. • Maintain files, logs, and perform housekeeping and groundskeeping. • Prioritize tasks, stay focused, and handle multiple responsibilities.

What You Bring

Preferred qualifications include knowledge of electrical, plumbing, hydraulic, and compressor systems, as well as pumps, motors, motor controls, instrumentation, and metal fabrication, complemented by strong hand and shop tool skills and a focus on accuracy and detail. Candidates must be able to prioritize, stay focused, handle multiple responsibilities, and may need a valid driver’s license; they must also pass a 40‑hour HAZWOPER training upon hire. • Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, hydraulic, compressor systems, pumps, motors, controls, instrumentation, and metal fabrication. • Skilled with hand and shop tools and instruments. • Demonstrate accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detail. • Valid driver’s license may be required. • Pass a 40‑hour HAZWOPER training upon hire.
