About the Role
The Engineer role at JLL focuses on driving technological innovation and operational excellence within commercial real‑estate facilities. Responsibilities span facilities management, asset maintenance, compliance, and environmental health and safety, covering critical systems such as elevators, mechanical equipment, and plumbing while ensuring contract compliance, risk management, and emergency response planning. Working closely with Account Leads and cross‑functional teams, the Engineer will lead initiatives that improve safety, efficiency, and sustainability across the portfolio. This includes coaching staff, identifying training needs, mentoring team members, and providing performance oversight for the entire team. JLL leverages artificial intelligence to enhance recruitment efficiency and maintains strict privacy standards for candidate data, providing equal‑opportunity employment and reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities. • Assist Account Lead with tenant liaison and promptly resolve property issues • Oversee contract compliance, risk management, and security badge processes • Support and develop environmental health and safety (EHS) programs and address EHS concerns • Lead emergency response plan development and coordinate regular EHS training • Implement and maintain a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for work orders and assets • Manage helpdesk administration, end‑user forums, and complaint management systems • Develop comprehensive asset management strategies with lifecycle planning for hard services • Direct predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance programs across assigned properties • Coordinate engineering support for critical systems including elevators, plumbing, and mechanical equipment • Monitor building efficiency metrics and implement improvement initiatives • Manage subcontractor performance to ensure compliance with contracts and company standards • Oversee tenant fit‑out works and ensure compliance with authority requirements • Control MRO supplies and maintain tools inventory • Supervise general building works, cleaning, landscaping, and other soft‑service scopes • Coach, mentor, and identify training needs for team members

What You Bring
• Diploma in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field • Minimum 5 years facilities engineering or property management experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and general building works • Proven experience with CMMS implementation and asset lifecycle management • Expertise in EHS regulations, contract management, and subcontractor oversight • Ability to manage change processes for technical maintenance activities
