About the Role

The position is a full‑time Designer within the Installation Design Department, responsible for translating customer quotes and safety standards into detailed 3D models, 2D shop drawings, and production‑ready documentation for utility trucks. • Create 3D models and 2D shop drawings for utility trucks using SolidWorks or Onshape. • Prepare accurate bills of materials (BOMs) for all installation components. • Conduct weight studies to verify chassis capacity limits. • Update drawings, BOMs, and build documentation with customer and as‑built changes. • Complete Engineering Change Notices and manage documentation control. • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and vendors to resolve design ambiguities and verify specifications. • Develop technical specifications and review technical documentation for accuracy. • Support production by troubleshooting design‑related issues.

What You Bring
