About the Role

The Restoration Technician works as part of a team to provide emergency services and content restoration for residential and commercial properties, following company policies and EPA, OSHA, and local safety regulations. The role requires availability for after‑hours and weekend emergency response as needed. • Perform content restoration in residential and commercial properties. • Conduct cleanup tasks, pack customer belongings, clean on‑site areas, and execute HVAC cleaning and deodorization. • Inventory site contents, set up emergency equipment, prepare items for storage, and handle item lifting. • Follow safety regulations, site‑specific safety plans, and wear appropriate protective gear. • Operate standard tools and equipment. • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on assigned equipment. • Maintain warehouse, stock supplies, and perform building upkeep. • Work at heights using ladders or scaffolding. • Execute hazardous waste operations.

What You Bring

The position requires solid technical skills, including the ability to perform basic arithmetic with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals, and to calculate rates, ratios, and percentages. Strong communication abilities are essential, such as reading safety manuals, writing routine reports, and speaking effectively to customers and colleagues. Work is performed in environments that are often dirty, dusty, noisy, and may contain hazardous or potentially hazardous substances, with exposure to inclement weather and uneven surfaces. Frequent travel is required, and reasonable accommodations can be made for individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. Candidates must be in good physical health and pass OSHA HAZWOPER medical clearance and drug screening. They must be able to wear full‑face or half‑face respirators, work in confined spaces, and regularly lift and carry up to 75 pounds while performing tasks at heights such as ladders or scaffolding. The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong work ethic, commitment to safety, and flexibility to work in varied conditions, with legal eligibility to work in the United States; bilingual English/Spanish ability is a plus. • High School diploma or equivalent. • 2–4 years of construction experience with water/fire damage, environmental, and hazardous waste work. • Valid environmental physical allowing respirator use. • OSHA 40‑hour HAZWOPER certification. • Current state driver’s license. • Forklift operator certification. • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to follow directions. • Good communication skills and commitment to safety policies. • Legally authorized to work in the United States. • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
