About the Role

The Building Cleaning Worker role includes duties such as cleaning offices, bathrooms, hallways, lobbies, elevators and other common areas, as well as mopping, rug‑shampooing, wall and glass washing, and debris removal. The position also involves minor repairs, painting, carpentry, replenishing supplies, landscaping, snow removal, and maintaining floors, lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and furnishings. • Clean offices, bathrooms, hallways, lobbies, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas. • Wet‑ or dry‑mop floors, shampoo rugs, wash walls and glass, remove rubbish, pressure‑wash, and eliminate gum and graffiti. • Perform minor repairs, painting, carpentry, replenish bathroom supplies, and handle landscaping and snow removal. • Sweep, scrub, wax, and polish floors, lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim. • Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies. • Replace light bulbs. • Transport small equipment or tools between departments. • Set up tables and chairs in auditoriums, meeting rooms, or halls. • Safety and security: observes procedures, reports unsafe conditions, and uses equipment properly.

What You Bring

Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience, and less than one year of prior experience on a commercial or multi‑unit residential property is acceptable.
