About the Role
The Project Manager, Furniture is responsible for overseeing all aspects of furniture projects, from developing scopes of work and procurement packages to managing pre‑order activities and coordinating installations. This role serves as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and ensures projects are delivered within budget and schedule constraints. Key responsibilities include leading furniture projects independently up to 50,000 RSF and supporting larger initiatives, coordinating with the project management team, architects, clients, and furniture dealers, and maintaining comprehensive project documentation such as scopes of work, procurement packages, budgets, and schedules. The manager also handles relocation communications, change‑management plans, and incorporates industry best practices while ensuring compliance with client and company policies. On a day‑to‑day basis, the manager plans and organizes the furniture scope, creates SOWs and procurement packages in collaboration with design teams, and maintains an open‑items log. They review final dealer designs and bills of materials for accuracy, act as the main client liaison, and align furniture installation activities with overall project timelines. Regular stakeholder meetings are held to discuss progress, open design items, and resolve any issues. • Lead furniture projects up to 50,000 RSF and support larger initiatives. • Develop and maintain scopes of work, procurement packages, budgets, and schedules. • Coordinate with project teams, architects, clients, and furniture dealers. • Manage relocation communications and change‑management plans. • Ensure compliance with client requirements and company policies. • Serve as primary client contact for furniture‑related inquiries. • Oversee vendor selection, order entry, and installation coordination. • Conduct regular stakeholder meetings to track progress and resolve issues.

Preferred qualifications are a project‑management certification such as PMP, NCIDQ certification, and experience with design software like CAD or CET. Benefits
The position offers an estimated base compensation range of $115,000 to $125,000 per year, with final packages determined by qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal factors. The role is based on‑site in New York, NY, and does not provide visa sponsorship; candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
