About the Role
The General Manager, Controls UKI & Nordics will lead the Controls business across the United Kingdom, Ireland and the Nordics, reporting to the VP GM Controls Europe. The role focuses on introducing new products, opening new vertical markets and scaling the Install and Service business from £50M to £80M with at least 8% CAGR annually. It also involves expanding aftermarket services and collaborating with recent and future acquisitions, requiring deep product and segment expertise in high‑performance sectors such as data centres and airports. • Lead the Controls line of business across UKI & Nordics, managing four direct reports. • Introduce and launch innovative products and solutions in the region. • Identify and open new vertical markets, focusing on data centres, airports, and similar high‑performance sectors. • Grow Install and Service revenue from £50M to £80M, achieving at least 8% CAGR. • Expand aftermarket services footprint and capabilities to boost customer satisfaction and retention. • Integrate recent and future acquisitions to maximize synergy and seamless operations. • Apply deep product and segment knowledge to influence strategy and ensure engineering standards are met. • Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, customers and partners in the region. • Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer needs, adjusting strategy as required.

What You Bring
The successful candidate will have senior leadership experience in the Controls sector, especially in high‑performance environments, a strong engineering background, and commercial acumen. A proven track record of growing install/service and aftermarket businesses, launching new products, and integrating acquisitions is essential, along with excellent stakeholder management and strategic, hands‑on thinking. • Demonstrated senior leadership success in the Controls sector, preferably in high‑performance environments. • Strong engineering background with experience delivering complex solutions on time and to specification. • Deep knowledge of building controls, automation and related technologies. • Commercial track record of driving growth in install/service and aftermarket businesses. • Experience launching new products and entering new market verticals. • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
