About the Role
As Programme Controller you will be responsible for controlling and delivering smaller, lower‑complexity programmes or portfolio aspects. You will monitor, review and report programme status against the Project Management Plan, manage variances to the baseline and report key performance indicators. You will review programme data, highlight trends and anomalies, propose corrective actions, ensure effective controls, provide accurate stakeholder reporting and facilitate risk and opportunity activities. • Control and deliver smaller, lower‑complexity programmes or portfolio components • Monitor, review and report programme status and key performance indicators • Manage variances to project baselines and propose corrective actions • Analyse programme data, identify trends and anomalies, and implement effective controls • Provide accurate stakeholder reporting on defined timescales • Facilitate risk and opportunity management activities

What You Bring
The role offers a hybrid working pattern, requiring three days per week in the office, and is based in either Bristol or Heybridge. Rolls‑Royce values agility, boldness, collaboration and simplicity, which are core to the assessment process. Candidates should have a degree or equivalent industry experience, be a member of a professional body and be working towards an APM PMQ or equivalent qualification, with at least one year of relevant programme or project experience. Experience in developing or implementing project management processes and a good knowledge of project control processes are required. Applicants must be able to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance without caveats; Rolls‑Royce will support the application if needed. A UK nationality is required, and dual nationals will undergo additional scrutiny. The role is a permanent contract. • Hold a degree or equivalent industry experience and be a member of a professional body • Work towards an APM PMQ or equivalent qualification with at least one year of relevant experience • Experience in developing and implementing project management and control processes • Ability to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance; UK nationality required
