About the Role
The role is responsible for monitoring current and projected inventory levels across the network, comparing them against financial targets and entitlement, and initiating corrective actions when deviations occur. It involves active participation in S&OE meetings to report inventory progression and preparing inventory expectations for the monthly forecast process. The incumbent will run Kinaxis scenarios, set inventory parameters in core systems such as SAP and Kinaxis, and lead cross‑functional inventory reduction projects while maintaining master data and tracking slow‑moving inventory. Additionally, the position supports network planners, conducts root‑cause analyses, shares best practices, and drives continuous improvement in materials management. • Monitor inventory levels versus financial targets and implement corrective actions. • Report inventory progression in S&OE meetings for ME and MPS visibility. • Run Kinaxis scenarios using S&OE/RCCP inputs and align with network planners. • Update product segmentation and assortment for inventory planning. • Set inventory parameters (ROP, safety stock, MOQ, min/max) in SAP and Kinaxis. • Adjust safety stock to improve DC and plant service levels. • Lead cross‑functional inventory reduction projects and provide monthly status updates. • Coordinate approval of inventory policy changes and support network planners. • Conduct root‑cause analysis and implement corrective action plans. • Maintain master data parameters and track excess and obsolete (E&O) inventory. • Generate daily MIS reports and tier‑4 leading indicator metrics. • Share best materials‑management practices and drive continuous improvement initiatives. • Train users on Kinaxis as a super‑user and act as subject‑matter expert.

What You Bring
Candidates should hold an engineering degree or an MBA with a focus on operations, supply chain, or materials production, and possess 10 to 14 years of relevant experience in inventory management and global supply chain environments. At least one year of experience as a subject‑matter expert in a global setting is required, and certifications such as CPIM, CSCP, or PMP are considered advantageous. Required skills include a solid understanding of SIOP, material planning, inventory management, MRP, and demand‑supply challenges, along with advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP systems (preferably SAP). Exposure to Power BI, SQL, and Kinaxis is preferred, as well as strong communication, collaboration, problem‑solving, strategic thinking, and attention‑to‑detail abilities. • Require 10‑14 years of global inventory/material‑planning experience; engineering or MBA background. • Preferred certifications: CPIM, CSCP, PMP. • Proficiency in advanced Excel, PowerPoint, SAP ERP, and Power BI/SQL. • Strong communication, stakeholder management, problem‑solving and strategic thinking.
