About the Role
The role provides direct supervision to professional and skilled individual contributors and serves as a hands‑on leader who guides the team, removes obstacles, and ensures operational excellence across data‑center critical facilities. You will be responsible for managing people, projects, vendors, testing, and incident response to keep the infrastructure reliable and ready for growth. • Directly supervises professional and skilled technical staff. • Ensures team responsibilities are completed on time and that projects progress as planned. • Oversees personnel matters including hiring, performance reviews, coaching, development, and compensation decisions. • Supports testing, operational readiness, and maintenance planning as needed. • Plans, coordinates, and allocates resources to deliver projects and maintenance activities across the data center. • Develops and manages routine operational plans and ensures targets are met on a monthly basis. • Provides input on annual budgets and supports cost management. • Oversees site capacity planning to maintain operational reliability and growth readiness. • Manages contractor performance to ensure work is completed safely and meets Equinix standards. • Supports system start-up testing, documentation, and issue reporting to ensure smooth commissioning and operations. • Leads communication, coordination, and on‑site activities during incidents to ensure timely resolution and accurate reporting.

What You Bring
• Minimum of 7 years of related experience, including experience in a people managing role. • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering field or equivalent work experience.
