About the Role
Machine Operator 3 performs operational work related to receipt, shipment, storage, distributions or delivery of products, parts and materials. Loads, unloads, moves or stores items according to delivery or routing documents or supervisor instructions. Operates heavy equipment. • Operate assigned machines (forklift, knuckle-boom, runaround, wood boiler support, Prentice support, endplate station support, trimmer support) at or above target production levels. • Complete daily inspection and maintenance reports for the assigned machine and identify operational issues. • Perform daily maintenance on the assigned machine. • Assist supervisors to ensure procedures are followed correctly. • Participate in and contribute to the company safety program.
