Manage income tax compliance, reporting, and governance for ANZ/Oceania entities.

About the Role
The role offers a variety of work, including preparing tax calculations and disclosures, managing returns and filings, handling compliance obligations, and supporting tax risk and governance initiatives. • Prepare and coordinate current and deferred tax calculations, journal entries, and financial report disclosures for ANZ and Oceania entities. • Prepare and coordinate direct income tax returns and filings for ANZ and Oceania entities as required. • Calculate monthly income tax instalments, manage withholding tax obligations, maintain franking accounts and forecasts, and reconcile tax‑sensitive general ledger accounts. • Prepare the Group’s BEPS Pillar 2 global filing obligations, incorporating guidance from other tax team members. • Support the Group’s tax risk and governance requirements from an income tax compliance perspective.

What You Bring
We are seeking an experienced Tax Compliance Manager to join our Enterprise Tax Team, taking ownership of income tax obligations and tax financial reporting for accuracy and timeliness. Candidates should bring extensive experience in large corporate or Big 4 tax compliance, strong technical and accounting knowledge, relevant CA/CPA and TIA qualifications, and the ability to communicate complex tax concepts clearly. • Minimum 10 years experience in large corporate or Big 4 environment with Australian tax compliance for global entities. • Strong tax technical, tax effect accounting, and reporting knowledge. • In‑depth understanding of tax legislation applicable to large corporate entities. • CA/CPA and TIA qualifications; postgraduate tax qualifications highly regarded. • Extensive experience using CCH Global Integrator (desirable). • Experience managing offshore tax compliance. • Proactive problem‑solving, research, and analysis skills. • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities with minimal supervision. • Strong communication skills, capable of explaining complex tax concepts in simple, commercially useful terms.
