About the Role

The role operates in a collaborative, cross‑functional environment, partnering with senior engineers, architects, product owners, and operations teams to design, build, and operate the service. Work spans front‑end, back‑end, DevOps, and quality assurance, with a focus on continuous improvement of scalability, reliability, usability, and security. • Collaborate within an agile team to build, own, and operate the cloud identity service. • Develop front‑end, back‑end, DevOps, and QA components of the platform. • Implement monitoring, alerting, metrics, logging, and troubleshooting processes. • Debug complex issues across multiple system components. • Translate product requirements into scalable, secure implementations with senior engineers and architects. • Identify and execute improvements to scalability, reliability, usability, and security. • Champion the service internally and support product teams’ integration efforts. • Build web applications using .NET frameworks. • Work hands‑on with AWS cloud services. • Design and consume RESTful APIs. • Apply solid software design and cloud architecture patterns. • Utilize relational (e.g., MySQL, Oracle) and non‑relational (e.g., MongoDB) data stores. • Deliver high‑performance, high‑availability services at internet scale. • Prioritize security, performance, and overall quality. • Continuously learn new technologies and adopt best practices. • Apply CI/CD practices in development workflows. • Contribute to or leverage open‑source projects.

Autodesk’s Identity Access and Management team is seeking a talented, motivated individual to lead the development of Autodesk’s Identity Access Management Platform. The platform supports millions of customers and is leveraged by more than 150 Autodesk desktop, mobile, web, and cloud applications as well as third‑party developers for authentication, authorization, profile, and entitlement management. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. • Possess 5–8 years of software development experience. • Demonstrate strong programming fundamentals and expertise in C# or Java. • Communicate effectively and present technical concepts clearly. • Understand JavaScript quirks and modern ES6/ES7 features. • Experience with TypeScript is a plus. • Exhibit problem‑solving, innovation, adaptability, and inclusive teamwork.
