About the Role
The Project Manager directs in‑house crews and subcontractors, works directly with customers, and handles bidding and billing. They lead internal and external teams to deliver projects on budget and schedule, report daily to customers and management, lead weekly client meetings, assign resources, ensure equipment, approve timesheets, submit billing, collaborate with other managers across fielding, design, and QC, evaluate team performance, develop productivity tools, and perform other duties as assigned. • Direct in‑house crews and subcontractors while coordinating bids and billing with customers. • Lead internal and external project teams to ensure on‑budget, on‑schedule delivery. • Provide daily reports to customers and management; conduct weekly client meetings. • Assign resources, approve timesheets, and ensure necessary equipment is available. • Submit completed projects for billing and maintain accurate documentation. • Collaborate with managers across fielding, design, and quality‑control processes. • Evaluate team performance, create improvement plans, and develop productivity monitoring tools.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate has solid knowledge of aerial and underground telecommunications, OSP fiber engineering experience, and advanced ESRI/GIS skills. They hold a high school diploma, are proficient with Microsoft Office, have intermediate schedule‑management experience, possess strong written and verbal communication, can read workprints accurately, distinguish colors, and have safety training with OSHA knowledge. A hands‑on problem‑solving attitude, ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, multi‑task environment, and interest in long‑term projects are essential. • Possess solid knowledge of aerial and underground telecom OSP, including fiber engineering. • Advanced experience with ESRI/GIS systems; proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. • Strong problem‑solving, hands‑on approach, and ability to read workprints and distinguish colors. • Excellent written and verbal communication; able to convey progress and recommendations to senior leadership. • Safety‑trained with knowledge of OSHA requirements; capable of thriving in a fast‑paced, multi‑task environment.
