Senior Project Manager - ADMS

About the Role

• Prepare and maintain a risk assessment and mitigation action plan • Lead the project core team meetings Present project progress at Steering Committee level with participation of senior executives from TRC or from the Client • Acting as a champion to foster a positive project work environment; and successfully lead the team to accomplish all the project objectives on time and on budget • Plan, prepare, and track project schedules and budgets to assure controlled completion of each project step. • Update the company and external stakeholders on project progress, changes from original plans, and existing or emerging risks. • Deliver project(s) to completion. You will own the scope, cost, schedule, and risks for the project and manage multiple tracks, business and technical resources, consultants and vendors contracted to deliver solutions. • Develop the workflow plans to manage the project from initial request through systems analysis, technical design, implementation, procurement, testing, turnover to production and client migration. • Development of contractual Statement of Works with Client and Suppliers articulating precise assumptions and limit of responsibilities • You will be TRC’s representative, ensuring that the Client and TRC's interests are well aligned for the success of the project. • Manage the Vendors, ensuring that the Contractual, operational and relationship aspects are well aligned for the success of the project. • The entire project team will report to you, and you will be ultimately responsible for assigning work, monitoring, and measuring the team’s outputs, escalating resource gaps or shortfall of individuals • Maintain resource forecasts to assure that schedule compliance and desired results are achieved.

What You Bring

• PMP Certification • Minimum of 10 years of Project Management experience in the utility domain • Excellent team building and motivational skills • Excellent organizational, decision making and presentation skills • Excellent budgeting and financial skills • Ability to strategize and implement methodology to increase project margins • Ability to self-direct and work independently as well as in a team environment • Previous experience implementing large SCADA, EMS or ADMS programs, preferably on the technology vendor side • Excellent communication skills ranging from addressing C-Level to multiple technical teams • Must have strong judgement, leadership, organization, and communication skills. • Ability to travel up to 50% or on an as needed basis to the client location. • The successful candidate will be fully knowledgeable and proficient in all aspects of the project management Body of Knowledge • Proficiency with MS-Project and with MS Office Suite: Excel, PowerPoint, Word • Previous experience leading and managing large-scale, multifaceted enterprise-wide Operational Technologies Projects in an electric or gas utility environment
