About the Role
The Traffic Coordinator ensures that materials and resources flow through the company in a timely manner, anticipating problems and developing action plans to minimize workflow delays. This role leverages intermediate to advanced knowledge of inbound and outbound logistics and customs documentation while building and maintaining strategic relationships with key suppliers, clients, and internal departments. The role involves coordinating inbound and outbound logistics, overseeing customs documentation, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. It also includes managing carrier relationships, monitoring delivery performance, and continuously seeking improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. • Generate shipping paperwork for drivers, carriers, and US/Canada customs. • Monitor material flow to ensure on‑time delivery. • Enter freight invoices into the accounting system. • Troubleshoot logistical issues to keep projects on schedule. • Develop delivery schedules with internal and external customers. • Coordinate communication among production, shipping, and logistics departments. • Manage deliveries with contracted carriers, ensuring timely and accurate shipments. • Recommend and implement improvements to delivery practices for efficiency and cost reduction. • Ensure contracted couriers adhere to company policies and procedures. • Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

What You Bring
Candidates must have at least a high school diploma with five years of relevant experience, or a bachelor’s degree with two years of experience. Required experience includes two years of international shipping to the United States and familiarity with the Harmonized Tariff Schedule, along with project‑management training and strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills. • High school diploma plus 5 years experience, or bachelor’s degree with 2 years experience. • Minimum 2 years experience shipping products internationally to the US, familiar with the Harmonized Tariff Schedule. • Project‑management training and skills in scheduling, leadership, and time management. • Strong knowledge of transport industry and traffic regulations. • Excellent oral and written communication skills. • Proficient in Microsoft Office. • Ability to solve business challenges with sound reasoning. • Strong organizational, detail‑oriented project‑management and communication abilities. • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment and travel to field sites with PPE.

Benefits
The position offers a salary range of $61,000‑86,000 CAD, determined by education, experience, and market data, and includes a competitive benefits package.
