About the Role
The Senior Project Manager will lead project design and permitting, perform engineering calculations, and ensure compliance with applicable FDEP, WMD, local, and other codes. What You Bring
We are seeking an experienced civil engineer to support the growth and expansion of our land development engineering department. NV5 (NYSE: TIC) provides professional and technical engineering and consulting solutions to public and private sector clients across infrastructure, energy, construction, program management, and environmental markets. As an ENR Top 500 firm, we offer a full range of services from offices throughout the United States. Candidates must have at least eight years of land development engineering experience and a minimum of three years in project management. Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in civil or agricultural engineering, an active Florida PE license, proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil3D, and experience in stormwater and utility design. A mandatory DMV background check is also required. The role involves indoor and outdoor work in a variety of weather conditions, including wet, humid, extreme cold or heat, dusty, and noisy environments. Field duties require frequent walking, long‑term standing, and the ability to lift, push, or pull up to 30 lb regularly and up to 50 lb occasionally, as well as navigate rough terrain and perform physical tasks such as climbing, stooping, and kneeling. Weekend, overtime, overnight work, and travel may be required. • Possess at least 8 years of land development engineering experience. • Have a minimum of 3 years of project management experience. • Hold a bachelor's degree in civil or agricultural engineering. • Maintain an active Florida Professional Engineer (PE) license. • Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil3D software. • Experienced in stormwater and utility design. • Pass a mandatory Department of Motor Vehicles background check. • Capable of lifting/pushing/pulling up to 30 lb frequently and up to 50 lb occasionally. • Able to stand, walk, and work on uneven terrain for up to 10‑12 hours per day. • Available for weekend, overtime, overnight travel as required.
