About the Role
The Director – Analytics & Modeling reports to the VP – Analytics & Modeling and leads the development, maintenance, and enhancement of the investment analytics framework. This role supports effective monitoring and informed advice on the company’s investment activities across the enterprise analytics function. • Evaluate, develop, and refine asset and derivative models for investment portfolios, producing cash‑flow projections under baseline, deterministic, stochastic, and regulatory scenarios (BMA8, NY7, VM22). • Monitor and review analytics results, collaborating closely with Investment, Portfolio Management, and Actuarial teams. • Review investment committee transactions and deliver risk‑and‑merit assessments. • Partner with Brookfield’s Technology Services Group to implement and productionize models. • Analyze market trends and investment updates to provide actionable insights. • Support the broader Analytics/Risk Quantification function on ad‑hoc projects and analyses.

What You Bring
• 5‑10 years of experience in investment analytics, financial market risk, or asset management; prior insurance experience preferred. • Deep knowledge of credit products, securitization, and illiquid assets; derivatives experience desirable. • Strong quantitative background with experience building valuation models and using fixed‑income analytics tools (Intex, Bloomberg). • Proficiency in data manipulation and programming languages such as Python and SQL; familiarity with econometric or stochastic modeling a plus. • Excellent communication and presentation skills with meticulous attention to detail. • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Finance/Econ, Math/Stat, Science, Engineering); advanced degree preferred. • Proactive, energetic, flexible, resource‑ful, able to multitask in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.

Benefits
