About the Role

The Road Mechanic role supports Sunbelt’s fast‑growing rental business by performing preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of equipment such as Aerial Work Platforms, construction tools, generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil‑&‑gas equipment. The position operates in both remote and onsite locations, emphasizing safety and minimizing downtime. • Work on a variety of makes, models, and equipment in challenging remote locations • Develop new skills for a career track in service or operations management

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a high school diploma or GED, with trade‑school training preferred, and possess 3‑5 years of experience servicing diesel, heavy‑construction, or specialty line equipment. A valid driver’s license is required; some locations may need a CDL and an acceptable driving record. Mechanics may need to supply their own tools and should have solid knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems, as well as the ability to troubleshoot them.
