The role requires the ability to follow instructions, reliable transportation, and the capacity to meet all physical demands. Prior experience on an industrial construction project and possession of the required tools are essential. Candidates should demonstrate strong problem‑solving abilities, manual dexterity, and reading comprehension. They must be able to work both collaboratively and independently, communicate effectively with co‑workers and supervisors, and uphold Zachry’s safety values and regulations. Preferred applicants include Zachry ROF’ed or former employees, those with prior industrial construction or pipe‑fitter helper experience, and individuals with formal technical education. The job mandates a specific set of tools such as a locked metal toolbox, magnetic level, tape measure, pipe wrench, hacksaw, crescent wrenches, screwdrivers, ball‑peen hammer, leather gloves, C‑clamps, bucket, rain suit, and rubber boots, as well as physical capabilities like standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lb, working at heights up to 300 ft with fall protection, and enduring various weather conditions for up to 12‑hour shifts while wearing required PPE. • Demonstrate good problem‑solving and manual dexterity. • Exhibit strong reading comprehension and communication skills. • Work effectively both as part of a team and independently. • Preferred: Zachry ROF’ed or former employee with industrial construction background. • Preferred: Experience as a pipe‑fitter helper or formal technical education. • Possess required tools: locked metal toolbox, magnetic level, tape measure, pipe wrench, hacksaw, crescent wrenches, screwdrivers, ball‑peen hammer, leather gloves, C‑clamps, bucket, rain suit, rubber boots. • Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, lift up to 50 lb, and work at heights up to 300 ft with fall protection. • Capable of working outdoors in heat, cold, rain, snow, or wind for up to 12‑hour shifts while wearing PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, ear protection, respirator, vest, gloves, steel‑toe boots).
