About the Role

The Maintenance Technician supports the property’s maintenance program by handling corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic tasks, as well as overseeing the make‑ready process under the guidance of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager. • Respond promptly to resident and management work orders for common areas, buildings, and units. • Perform repairs, replacements, and routine upkeep to maintain property standards. • Schedule and execute maintenance and repair tasks for unit turn‑over events. • Clean and maintain exterior grounds, breezeways, common areas, and swimming pools, logging chemicals accurately. • Conduct daily inspections to identify and correct hazardous conditions. • Carry out preventative maintenance to extend asset life and reduce future repairs. • Keep the maintenance shop organized, stocked, and compliant with OSHA safety standards. • Assist with hazard communication programs and promote safe work practices. • Maintain accurate records of service requests, EPA/OSHA compliance, and make‑ready status. • Provide excellent customer service, monitor response times, and enforce community policies. • Meet physical demands such as lifting 100+ lb objects, climbing ladders, and working in varied environments, including on‑call emergencies. • Maintain reliable transportation for on‑call emergency response.

What You Bring

• Hold a high school diploma or equivalent and possess basic computer skills and knowledge of Fair Housing and OSHA regulations.
