About the Role

In this role you will integrate into a national water‑treatment team, building strong relationships through proactive communication. Responsibilities include preparing technical deliverables such as reports, proposals, process schematics, specifications, and layout drawings, as well as supporting process‑engineering analysis, technology selection, equipment sizing, modelling, mass‑balances, hydraulic assessments, and 3D layout development. You will participate from concept through detailed design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operations support, balancing multiple projects and coordinating with colleagues, vendors, clients, and subcontractors while providing technical support to senior engineers.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate holds an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering, is eligible to register as an EIT or P.Eng with a Canadian regulator, and has 0–2 years of relevant experience, including co‑op or internship work. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (French a plus), excellent organization, detail orientation, and time‑management are required, along with proficiency in engineering software and commercial tools. Interest in proposal development, ability to work independently and collaboratively, and experience with process modelling tools or field work are considered assets, and a valid driver’s license is required. • Hold an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering (graduate studies a plus). • Eligible to register as an EIT or P.Eng with a Canadian engineering regulator (EGBC/APEGA). • Possess 0–2 years of relevant experience, including co‑op or internship experience. • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills in English; French is an asset. • Exhibit strong organization, detail orientation, and time‑management abilities. • Proficient with engineering software and commercial tools for technical problem‑solving. • Show interest or experience in proposal development and business development activities. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. • Experience with process‑modelling tools (HYSYS/HYSIM, OLI, or Metsim) is an asset. • Maintain a valid driver’s license.

The final salary may be adjusted based on qualifications, certifications, seniority, location, performance, and business needs. This range is subject to change for business purposes.
