About the Role

• Perform final inspections, testing, and adjustments on residential HVAC systems to ensure functionality and code compliance. • Identify and correct installation deficiencies such as ductwork, wiring, refrigerant charge, and system calibration. • Complete punch list items promptly to close out jobs. • Collaborate with installation teams, office staff, and customers for seamless project completion. • Maintain detailed records and complete digital or paper punch lists and quality control forms. • Keep job sites clean, safe, organized; maintain tools and company vehicle in excellent condition.

What You Bring

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled HVAC Punch Out Technician to join our residential installation team. In this role, you will handle the final inspection, testing, and correction of HVAC systems after installation—ensuring every system operates efficiently, meets code and company standards, and is ready for customer handoff. Applicants need at least two years of HVAC installation or service experience, an EPA Type II or Universal certification, a clean driver’s license, and strong attention to detail. Preference is given to graduates of HVAC trade schools and those familiar with digital punch list tools. • Minimum 2 + years HVAC installation or service experience. • EPA Certification (Type II or Universal). • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record. • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and troubleshooting. • Excellent attention to detail, craftsmanship, communication, time management, and problem‑solving skills. • Graduate of an HVAC trade school or technical training program (preferred). • Experience using digital punch list tools, CRM systems, or field service software (preferred).
