About the Role

The Driver – CDL (B) safely operates a collection truck and provides prompt, courteous waste removal services while ensuring the vehicle complies with company safety standards and all applicable regulations. Daily vehicle condition reports (VCRs) are completed to address any defects promptly. Key duties include thorough pre‑ and post‑operation inspections, navigating designated routes, loading and compacting waste, and delivering it to the proper disposal site. The driver interacts professionally with customers and dispatchers, tags unsatisfactory containers, cleans spills, monitors vehicle readiness, and completes required productivity and reporting documents. • Perform complete pre‑ and post‑operation vehicle inspections and report safety issues • Operate the collection truck safely along assigned routes, load and compact waste, and deliver to disposal sites • Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and coworkers to ensure timely service • Identify, tag, and manage unsatisfactory waste containers according to procedures • Clean accidental waste spills and maintain vehicle cleanliness to uphold safety standards • Complete daily route sheets, productivity reports and Vehicle Condition Reports (VCRs) • Adhere to all company, state and federal safety regulations and participate in the ReSOP program • Maintain required productivity standards and efficient time management

Benefits

Minimum qualifications are a Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s License with an air‑brake endorsement; the position offers $25.50 per hour, local routes, weekly paychecks, overtime, and a comprehensive benefits package.
