About the Role
The Planner supports material resource planning by managing routings and bills of material within the ERP system. Working closely with manufacturing, procurement, engineering, quality, and logistics teams, the role ensures timely communication of lead times, schedule impacts, material shortages, and delivery commitments. • Develop, implement, and improve production routers • Create and distribute work order packages, including pick tickets and routers, according to the planning schedule • Monitor and close each router step upon completion • Coordinate with department management to assess project status • Expedite operations and adjust schedules to address unforeseen conditions • Notify purchasing to fast‑track material when needed to meet delivery commitments • Maintain system integrity by updating records, routers, and work orders • Track ERP shortage lists to ensure full material availability and on‑time customer delivery • Participate in teams to drive process improvements and resolve issues • Attend cross‑functional activities with quality, manufacturing, purchasing, and engineering to ensure smooth material flow • Communicate detailed status of material planning items affecting the production schedule • Ensure workflows, processes, and products comply with safety regulations • Complete new‑employee safety training and job‑specific modules as required

What You Bring
The position is based in North Las Vegas, Nevada and primarily operates in an office environment, though occasional travel between Nikkiso facilities and client sites is required. Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting up to 25 lb, and the ability to use hands and fingers for tool manipulation; overtime may be needed during peak workloads. • High School Diploma/GED required • Bachelor’s degree preferred • 1–2 years of planning or production control experience preferred • Experience using an ERP/MRP system • Strong investigative and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail • Logical, methodical thinking approach • Effective interpersonal and organizational skills • Excellent verbal and written communication • Ability to make decisions independently and proactively • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Knowledge of standard manufacturing and safety compliance processes • Wear required Nikkiso‑provided PPE, including safety shoes, glasses, respirators, and cryogenic protection equipment
