Job Highlights
About the Role
The Sorter is responsible for ensuring proper placement and sorting of materials on the conveyor line. Duties include inspecting and sorting items by type, size, condition, color or paper grade, removing contaminants, stacking and dumping boxes or totes, and feeding material onto the conveyor. Additional tasks involve cleaning the conveyor and surrounding work area, monitoring machine start‑up, following standard operating procedures, reporting safety concerns or equipment malfunctions, and attending weekly or monthly safety and operations meetings. Other duties may be assigned as needed. • Inspect and sort materials by type, size, condition, color or paper grade. • Remove contaminants, stack and dump boxes/skids, and feed material onto conveyor. • Clean and maintain the sorting line, monitor machine operation, and follow SOPs. • Report safety hazards or equipment issues and attend safety/operations meetings.

What You Bring
No prior experience is required, though a high school diploma or GED is preferred.
