About the Role

As a Facilities Manager at JLL, you will serve as the manager for assigned sites while providing leadership and direction to a team of highly skilled staff in delivering facilities management services in professional office environments, ensuring service delivery meets Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators at the lowest possible cost within prescribed budgets. This strategic leadership role combines operational excellence with client relationship management, requiring you to work with Senior Facilities Managers to develop overall facilities team vision while overseeing operational aspects of properties to protect, maintain, and improve client site value. In this role you will collaborate with Senior Facilities Managers to set the facilities team vision and oversee daily property operations. You will ensure service delivery meets SLAs and KPIs, manage third‑party contractors, and act as the primary client interface. Continuous improvement of site performance and adherence to safety and budgetary targets are core responsibilities. • Develop and execute facilities team vision with Senior Facilities Manager. • Oversee property operations to protect, maintain, and enhance client site value. • Conduct routine site inspections to ensure highest quality standards. • Drive continuous improvement in site performance and manage third‑party contractors and vendors. • Build and maintain positive relationships with client managers and operations teams as primary service interface. • Transform operational practices by leveraging JLL tools, processes, and best practices while adhering to SLAs and KPIs. • Promote a safety‑first culture through training, safe work practices, and collaborative teamwork. • Develop and manage operating budgets, meeting cost‑saving targets and staying within constraints. • Conduct performance reviews and lead rollout of CMMS tools. • Foster diversity, equity, and inclusion within the team.

What You Bring

Candidates must have 5–8 years of facilities management experience, including leading teams and managing 24/7 operations. Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and budgeting skills are required, along with familiarity with building systems, CMMS tools, and Microsoft Office. Excellent communication and a solid understanding of safety and preventive maintenance are essential. Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree, experience in professional office environments, and expertise in strategic sourcing, capital improvement projects, and JLL-specific tools. Knowledge of landlord‑tenant relationships and incident investigation adds value. A background in employee development and performance management is also desirable. • Minimum 5–8 years facilities management experience, including leading facilities teams. • Experience managing 24/7 operations in fast‑paced environments with strong client relationship skills. • Proven organizational and problem‑solving abilities, budgeting and time‑management competence. • Knowledge of building systems and ability to multitask independently. • Proficiency with CMMS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite. • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. • Understanding of safety procedures, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement methods. • Ability to manage third‑party contractors and ensure audit compliance. • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred). • Background in professional office environment facilities management (preferred). • Experience with strategic sourcing, contracting, and capital improvement projects (preferred). • Familiarity with JLL tools, landlord/tenant relationship management, and incident investigation (preferred).

This full‑time position is based onsite in San Francisco, CA, with an estimated annual compensation range of $110,300–$165,500. Job tags: GREF.
