About the Role

This role will start May 2026 with a non‑negotiable starting pay rate of $49.01 per hour. PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION: repair and maintain electrical equipment such as motors, generators, commutators, circuit breakers, controls, relays, and switches. PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES: assist electrical mechanics of higher classification in the performance of their duties and make routine inspections of electrical equipment during outages, reporting any conditions found. • Repair and maintain electrical equipment such as motors, generators, circuit breakers, controls, relays, and switches. • Assist senior electrical mechanics with their tasks. • Perform routine inspections of electrical equipment during outages and report findings. • Work flexible shifts and obtain unescorted nuclear access.

What You Bring

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: high school diploma, ability to pass pre‑employment testing, ability to work different shifts, and ability to receive unescorted nuclear access, plus one of the following – associate degree in a technical field, two years of related electrical military experience, two years as a journeyperson electrician, or equivalent industrial experience. • Hold a high school diploma and pass pre‑employment testing. • Have either an associate degree in a technical field or at least two years of relevant electrical experience (military, journeyperson electrician, or industrial).
