About the Role
Under general direction, you will perform preventive maintenance, repair, installation, and replacement of HVAC mechanical equipment and building control systems. You will assist branch leadership by coaching and mentoring technicians, providing Level 1 technical support, and ensuring compliance with state, local, and federal regulations. All required project and service documentation must be completed accurately, and you will strive to deliver the highest level of customer service. You will adhere to Johnson Controls and customer safety standards, providing safety leadership to technicians and subcontractors on job sites. Recognized as a leader, you will act as an escalation point for complex system problems, delivering on‑the‑job training and expert guidance. Additionally, you will contribute to quoting, estimating, material identification, and scheduling of skilled personnel to ensure efficient service delivery. Your role includes managing assigned work to meet professional execution standards, on‑time delivery, and customer satisfaction. You will act as a trusted advisor, communicating with customers before, during, and after service, recommending enhancements, upgrades, or repairs, and providing consultant‑level solutions. Continuous improvement is expected through self‑study, training, certifications, and identifying upselling opportunities supported by detailed quotes. • Perform preventive maintenance, repair, installation, and replacement of HVAC systems and building control equipment. • Coach and mentor branch technicians, providing Level 1 technical support and fostering development. • Ensure compliance with state, local, and federal regulations and complete all project documentation. • Lead safety initiatives and instruct technicians and subcontractors on Johnson Controls safety standards. • Serve as escalation point for complex technical issues and deliver on‑the‑job training. • Develop quotes, estimates, material lists, and coordinate skilled technicians for service delivery. • Communicate proactively with customers, provide solutions, and drive satisfaction and system upgrades. • Manage assigned projects to meet timelines, quality standards, and customer expectations. • Pursue continuous technical proficiency through training, certifications, and self‑study. • Identify upselling opportunities and provide cost‑effective recommendations to improve facility efficiency.

What You Bring
