About the Role
The Area Manager – Rotary Drilling Division serves as a critical link between factory operations and frontline sales, providing both strategic insight and hands‑on support to execute business development plans and meet customer commitments. Key responsibilities include building trustworthy relationships through motivating leadership, developing and executing business development plans with internal stakeholders, and aligning cross‑division activities while translating customer feedback to the factory. The role partners with Sales Areas on pipeline management, demand forecasting, and marketing initiatives, and drives profitability by overseeing sales cases, contracts, and order specifications. It also supports the S&OP process by consolidating forecasts into production schedules, provides training on Sandvik Rotary products, and ensures compliance with Environment, Health & Safety standards promoting a Zero Harm culture. • Build and maintain trustworthy relationships through motivating leadership. • Develop and execute business development plans with internal stakeholders. • Align cross‑division activities and translate customer feedback to factory operations. • Partner with Sales Areas on pipeline, demand forecasting, and marketing initiatives. • Drive profitability by managing sales cases, contracts, and order specifications. • Support S&OP by consolidating forecasts into production schedules. • Provide training and coaching on Sandvik Rotary products and applications. • Ensure compliance with Environment, Health & Safety standards and promote Zero Harm.

What You Bring
Candidates must have a minimum of five years of relevant mining industry experience and hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field. They need U.S. work authorization without sponsorship, be willing to travel up to 15% domestically and internationally, and possess a results‑driven mindset, strong technical knowledge, and proven leadership in a global matrix environment. Excellent communication, networking, and multicultural collaboration skills are essential, as is fluency in English; additional languages are a plus. • Minimum 5 years mining industry experience and a bachelor's degree in engineering or business. • Ability to travel up to 15% domestically and internationally. • Strong communication, networking, and leadership skills in a global matrix environment.
